Niritech director Nichole Crawford-Thompson was selected by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Jamaica to attend the annual Wexchange Forum which will be held at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, in Monterrey Mexico. Wexchange is a platform that connects high-growth women entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean with mentors and investors seeking to nurture the growth of their business.

Thirty startups from around the world were selected to take part in one of the biggest tech conferences in the world and for the first time, Jamaica was invited. Niritech, Agrocentral and Transcel Ltd have been selected to receive all-expense-paid trips to Helsinki, Finland to be part of this global tech event that attracted over 750 international investors and over 350 startups in 2014.

On June 30, 2015, our Online Instructors travelled from various parts of the island of Jamaica to attend our Team Development Workshop in Kingston. The workshop focused on improving instruction in the virtual classroom; communicating the company's vision and mission, and to motivate and inspire instructors to make a positive impact on the educational landscape of Jamaica.
