On June 5 & 6, 2017, our Co-Founder and CEO Nichole went to The Regional Workshop on Entrepreneurship in the Caribbean held at the Pegasus Hotel, Kingston. The event was planned by the United States Embassy of Jamaica, The Branson Centre Caribbean, The YLAI Network and Meridian International Organization.
Director, Nichole Crawford-Thompson was among three (3) entrepreneurs selected to join the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship Caribbean (BCEC) Cohort 11. The BCEC is a Caribbean is a hub for budding entrepreneurs who gain access to knowledge, markets, networks and other resources.
The Niritech team partnered with the Jamaica National Foundation to develop a mobile app for the JN School Leadership Summit 2016. The app allowed attendees to engage digitally by asking questions and evaluating sessions.
Niritech CEO, Nichole Crawford-Thompson was among over 700 entrepreneurs and more than 300 investors in attendance at the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit, held June 22-24, 2016 at Stanford University, in Palo Alto.
Niritech director, Nichole Crawford-Thompson along with thirty entrepreneurs from emerging markets traveled to Helsinki, Finland, to participate in the Slush Global Impact Accelerator, a joint program of the World Bank Group, infoDev, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
Niritech was among three Jamaican tech-start-ups invited to present at the event. Among the invited guests to this announcement reception were Hon. Julian J. Robinson is the Minister of State in the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, Member of Parliament for South Eastern St.
Jamaican tech entrepreneurs Nichole Crawford and Winnie Dzidonu-Genius braved the cold and damp conditions in Helsinki, Finland, to pitch their businesses at the Slush Global Impact Accelerator, a nine-day bootcamp for social impact entrepreneurs from emerging markets. The two women were selected by the infoDev/EPIC Caribbean Mobile Innovation Program (CMIP) and PitchIT Caribbean.
